Proceeds benefit the Memorial Hermann Medical Missions Fund at Memorial Hermann Foundation to assist those who suffer from inadequate medical, dental, and general health support. WHAT: Memorial Hermann presents “The 2nd Annual Cricket Cup Match” benefiting Memorial Hermann Medical Missions at Constellation Field in Sugar Land on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. The exhibition match will be played by physicians affiliated with Memorial Hermann Southwest, Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center, Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, and Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital. WHO: The event is open to the public. A suggested donation of $5 per person is appreciated and will benefit the Memorial Hermann Medical Missions Fund at Memorial Hermann Foundation. BACKGROUND: The Memorial Hermann Medical Missions Fund at Memorial Hermann Foundation was founded in 1999 to serve as a liaison between the resources of Memorial Hermann and underserved residents of global communities and during natural disasters in the United States. Its goal is to assist those who suffer from inadequate medical, dental, and general health support. In 2012, the Foundation funded medical mission trips to such countries as Botswana, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya, and Suriname.
